Holiday Closure of DDO

When the lab is closed for holidays these are the steps to disable the DDO sample activations so that samples are not stranded in collection boxed over the holiday break.

 Instructions

Disable the DDO activation on the PnC site:

1. Log into the PnC Web Apps page

2. Launch PnCConfig

3. Application is OpenCommunicator

4. Folder location is OpenCommunicator → Home Kit

5. Uncheck Enable Home Kit

   Open

   

Disable the DDO shortcut button on the PnC site:

1. Log into the PnC Web Apps page

2. Launch PnCConfig

3. Application is OpenCommunicator

4. Folder location is OpenCommunicator → Home Kit

5. Uncheck Enable Home Kit Testing Quick Link

   Open

   

Place a lab closure message on the home page:

1. Log into the PnC Web Apps page

2. Launch PnCConfig

3. Application is OpenCommunicator

4. Folder location is OpenCommunicator → Home Page Settings

5. Change the Message of the Day. Include the HTML markup tags. Below is a sample:
