ASU Research Computing Communications and Mailing Lists

Per ASU Research Computing user policies, all users must receive required messages related to maintenance and outages. Please note that if you choose to opt out of these notifications, your account and any account under your sponsorship will be locked. These messages will be shared from the following address: noreply@asu.edu.

Opt-Out Announcements

All users will receive a monthly training announcement for workshops and other events of interest to the ASU Research Computing community. These announcements will have the subject line, “Upcoming Events with ASU Research Computing“. To opt out of these announcement, please follow these instructions:

  1. Click the link to unsubscribe in the “Upcoming Events with ASU Research Computing“ email.

  2. Following the instructions given to you by the webpage.

  3. Unselect “Events and Training“ and then update your preferences.

Opt-In Announcements

ASU Research Computing offers the following opt-in mailing lists for announcements:

  • News: this will include updates about ASU Research Computing and its offerings. 

  • Training and Events: this will include the monthly training email and announcements for events of interest to the ASU Research Computing community.

  • Opportunities for Students: this will include student employee postings, call for participation in local and national competitions, and other exciting opportunities for ASU students. 

The following mailing lists have been created for ASU Research Computing’s affinity groups. Join these mailing lists for updates and meetings about these applications:

  • Large Language Models Affinity Group

  • AlphaFold2 Affinity Group

  • Parabricks Affinity Group

  • Python Affinity Group

  • R Affinity Group

  • MATLAB Affinity Group
