On Sol, the Stata installed is StataNow/MP v18.5, and it can use a maximum of 64 CPU cores for a job. It does not support MPI or multi-node jobs.

On Phx, the Stata installed is StataNow/MP 18.5, and it can use a maximum of 32 CPU cores for a job. It does not support MPI or multi-node jobs.

StataNow/MP is designed for running on multiple CPUs or multithreading, but a stata module can speed up the jobs even further: https://github.com/gvegayon/parallel . It can be installed on the user side.
