Note

Verify the user is affiliated with ASU and that they still require access to the PnC system BEFORE completing a password reset. The easiest way to accomplish this is to contact their direct supervisor.

  1. Access PnC Admin via the dropdown arrow in the top right, immediately left of your name.

  2. Select PnC Admin.

  3. By default, the landing screen should be "Users." If it's not, you can select "Users" from the list on the left side of the screen under "Account Setup."

  4. The list you see will contain all users with active accounts.

    1. The list you see will display all users with active accounts. Accounts are deactivated under certain circumstances, such as when a user hasn't logged in for the past 30 days, when their agency's contract with ASU has ended, or when their supervisor confirms that the individual no longer works there.

  5. If a user's account has been deactivated, their name will not appear in the search results when using the filter bar in the top left corner. To view deactivated accounts, make sure to check the "Show Deleted" option in the set of checkboxes in the top left corner.

  6. For most recently active accounts, you should find their supervisor's name and email address in the comment field under "General." If the listed supervisor is not the person requesting reactivation, the listed supervisor must provide authorization for the reactivation.

    1. If a user is requesting reactivation for their own account and doesn't have a supervisor listed, please contact Benjamin Nussle and/or Kevin Tinnin. Do not reactivate any accounts with the permission of a listed supervisor.

  7. If the user only needs reactivation, click the red "Activate" button in the top right corner. If the user is also locked out of their account, refer to the Locked out Users process for further assistance.
