HPC accounts Accounts on the ASU supercomputers are available to all ASU faculty members, as well as students working under the faculty members, staff, students, and affiliates. Please note that students and certain staff must be sponsored by a faculty member in order to have access to the supercomputer.

How do I request an account?
To obtain an account on HPC supercomputerthe supercomputers, an account request form must be filled out, which . This form can be found on the Research Computing website.
Once the form is submitted, we'll get your account added and send you an email when it is ready.
This is a manual process and it may take some time for the request to be processed.
Account aging process
HPC supercomputer accounts your request will be reviewed and your account will be created within two business days. An email with onboarding instructions will be sent to you.

Account Aging Process
Accounts on the supercomputers are checked at the end of each semester for faculty, staff, and students that are no longer with the University. All old accounts are locked to prevent those users the ability to log into the supercomputer. If your account is locked and you require extended access to the supercomputer, please email ASU Research Computing at rtshelp@asu.edu.
