To ensure the ASU Research Computing systems are safe and current, maintenance outages will be scheduled and carried out quarterly on the supercomputers and related infrastructure to maintain stability and improve performance and security. Jobs will not be allowed to run on the supercomputers during the maintenance period. The length and timing of these maintenance windows were carefully planned to minimize the impact of the University's ongoing research commitments. Estimated maintenance dates are subject to change. Communication is sent out via email before maintenance.

Emergency Maintenance

In the event of the need to install important security patches or perform other maintenance that cannot wait until a Scheduled Maintenance window, ASU Research Computing Staff will schedule critical maintenance as needed and inform users via email. ASU Research Computing Staff will take extra effort to preserve currently running jobs if at all possible.
