Node Legend for rcstatus

rcstatus.asu.edu offers information on node status'. See below for information on how to determine each node's status.

Color Indicators

Each background color represents a different node state:

A green node indicates that the node is idle or being held for larger job. See here that cg1-7 is idle.

A red node indicates that the node is fully allocated--all of its CPUs are allocated for compute jobs. See here that cg1-7 is fully allocated.

A blue node indicates that the node is in drain state and unavailable for admin reasons. See here that cg1-7 is unavailable for admin reasons.

An orange node indicates mixed, partial allocation on node; remaining CPUs are either idle or held for larger job. See here that cg1-7 is partially allocated.

A gray node indicates that the node is in offline state and unavailable. See here that cg1-7 is offline.

Circle Indicators

GPU nodes will show a circle indicator in addition to a background color indicator.

An empty circle represents: idle or held GPU. See here that s72-2 is fully idle with 4 Available GPUs.

A full circle represents an allocated GPU. See here that s71-1 single GPU is allocated, but the CPUs are not yet all allocated, leaving s71-1 in a mixed state.
