SC23 Student Cluster Competition

ASU Research Computing Is Seeking Undergraduate Students for the SC23 Student Cluster Competition

ASU Research Computing will be sponsoring five undergraduate students to participate in the SC23 Student Cluster CompetitionSC23 is an international conference for high performance computing, networking, storage, and analysis. The Student Cluster Competition (SCC) was developed in 2007 to provide an immersive high performance computing experience to undergraduate and high school students. The SCC is an opportunity for students to showcase their expertise in a friendly, yet spirited, competition.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a university or high school, be at least 18 years old, and not have received a bachelor's degree or equivalent before the beginning of the SCC (November 14, 2023). To be considered for a spot on the ASU team, please have your students fill out the form below by April 17. If selected to compete, team members will be expected to meet weekly between June and November. Students will be required to request permission from their professors to travel to and attend the SC23 conference on November 12-17.

The deadline to apply is April 17th. An information session will be held on March 23rd at 3 PM to provide additional details and previous experience from past participants. Additional event details can be found here.
