Overview

There are several types of storage volumes that are available on Aloe.

/home

This is the home directory, similar to a User Profile on Windows. All KE Secure Cloud users get a /homedirectory when their account is created. It has a 100GB limit and is mostly intended for software installations. It is only available on Aloe.

/project

This is Project Storage. Read more about Project Storage.

/globus

This is the Globus volume used to transfer data. Read more about Globus.

/tmp

This is temporary storage that only exists while jobs are running. It is the storage that’s directly on the compute nodes. Read more about Using /tmp in Aloe.
